Team Lead Milling
Rob has been with HEC for 7 years and has 14 years of engineering experience. He has recently been promoted to Team Leader of Milling.
He says: “We constantly aspire to improve processes in order to improve profitability and remain competitive for our customers.”
Team Lead Turning
Luke brings 15 years of engineering experience to HEC and has recently been promoted to Team Leader of Turning (moving across from Milling) which has given him the opportunity to step up into managing and enhancing his skill set in the Turning side of our business.
As leader of our social calendar he is also integral to boosting morale through encouraging participation in group activities.
Inspector
Simon Joined the team at HEC 8 years ago bringing 33 years of Engineering experience with him. “with my roots in commercial engineering, I made the pivotal transition into aerospace engineering that shaped my career.
I started in Milling and have since been promoted into a new role in Inspection where I am “flying” the flag of excellence, precision and consistency”.
Engineer in Turning
Jake joined HEC as an apprentice and over the past 10 years has developed into an experienced and dedicated engineer.
He can now pass on his knowledge when helping to train the newcomers and apprentices like Nathaniel.
“It all started at HEC and I cannot be more grateful for the support and development I have received here. I look forward to continuing my career at HEC as it is a great place with great people.”
In his personal time Jake has reached an advanced level of kick boxing and Ju-jitsu.
Apprentice
Nathaniel is getting hands on experience in every area of the business but he especially enjoys setting and operating the machines.
Nathaniel says:
“The team at HEC have taken me under their wing to support, guide and provide me with a plethora of learning opportunities to help me develop as an engineer. They are a great team to work with and we also have lots of fun when we go out together.”
