Due to continued growth and investment, HEC Precision is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our highly skilled team.
Working in a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, you’ll be responsible for producing high-precision components for the aerospace sector while working on a range of advanced CNC machinery.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes to manufacture precision-engineered components to exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled multi-axis CNC lathes
- Manufacturing high-precision components for the aerospace sector
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements
- Working efficiently to achieve production targets
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Machinery
You will be working with a range of modern CNC equipment, including:
- Doosan Lynx 220LM
- Puma 400
- Puma 3100
- Puma 2600SY (Sub-Spindle)
Experience with offline programming software such as Edgecam or hyperMILL would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner
- Strong programming, setting and operating experience
- Experience with Fanuc-controlled machines
- The ability to work from engineering drawings
- A proactive and quality-focused approach
- Aerospace experience would be beneficial
